To buy..or not to buy... But the answer is obviously - I need to have a better laptop than the one I'm using right now. Or maybe.. can I just upgrade the existing one (as suggested by hubby:- 'cost cutting ma..')? But it's gonna be quite pricely also.
So maybe I'll just get a knew one. Compaq Presario V3200 or Dell Inspiron 640m, both are in the same range of price and performance. Emmm let me decide later after I've had my morning cuppa!
One thing is obvious though.... this woman is not I.T savvy!!!

More than a week has passed since the five-year old nazrin has gone missing from the Sogo Shopping Mall. My heart goes to the parents whom I believe are facing the most difficult time in their life. Being a mom myself, I almost could feel the frustration the missing boy's mom is feeling. Somehow or another, a small part of her must be blaming herself for being so negligent and for taking the boy's safety for granted. I know, coz I've been doing that too- bringing all my children to the mall, leaving them outside the changing room while i get busy trying the clothes on. And I can vividly remember an incident two years ago when I had carelessly walked around Genting Highlands indoor - theme park - First World Hotel, assuming that all my three children are following me closely from behind. Within a few seconds my youngest who was 4 at the time, was lost from our sight. At that instant only god knew how panic I was...running frantically around the the crowded park (it was a one-week school break, so everybody was jamming the place) calling her name, until I saw her in the safe arm of a man wearing yellow colour t-shirt and looking at me angrily. I believe he was angry at me for being so careless. But at that time I didn't care.. scold me, beat me or do whatever you want, I was just thankful that i got my child back.
So why do we do this? Coz we keep on thinking that they'll be there, they'll be safe...and who in the world would dare to do anything to children in a closed area like the malls? But...there's always the first time... and when it happened, it helped other parents to realise how easy it is for such a big disaster to befall onto us (losing our child) , and thus making us more careful in guarding our young ones. And so the incident has taught us to be extra careful.... unfortunately the victim didn't get to learn it from others .
So let us all pray for the safety her son, and may she regain her normal, happy life back.

i've finally created my own blog to let out things that've been playing on my mind, though at the moment there's nothing much that i can write down. Yeah, english is not my mother-tounge, hence there'll be grammatical errors here and there ( not that many i suppose..), so pl forgive me, or you're welcomed to give comments/ guidance if you wish. I still write in english (simple english) coz i wanna enable every one out there( which means it's not limitted to the malaysians only) to share my thoughts..., thoughts that come from a plain, humble, malay, kampung housewife.....
